Our community meets for two terms of 13 weeks each during the school year. Meeting days are Wednesdays in Woodstock, GA, and they go from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Our current classes are:
Art Appreciation: Students study one artist per term and view six of their works. They also do memory work of each image, plus line and color studies of the artwork.
Art Instruction: Students learn introductory art forms and care for supplies. They learn brushwork in term 1, from brushforms to designs, and color theory in term 2, from primary colors to blending different media.

Folk Song, Hymn Study, and Spanish Song: We study 2-3 folk songs, hymns, and Spanish songs each term.
Recitation & Poetry: Each week, students volunteer to recite something they’ve been working on at home.
Science: Each term, we study one biome, learning about the plants and animals that live in them and exploring the unique features of each.

Physical Education: Younger students learn folk dances and playground games, while older students do circuits and learn the values of moving their bodies.
Shakespeare: Older forms read and discuss one of Shakespeare’s plays per term.

Plutarch: Older forms study and narrate ancient Greek and Roman lives.
Handicrafts: Each form does one handicraft per term. Lower forms rotate through Sewing and Paper Sloyd. Upper forms do different work.
