MISSION STATEMENT
Delightful Living Community is an educational non-profit (501c3). Our mission is to
partner with local homeschooling families to provide a rich, community-centered
educational experience rooted in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of learning.
VISION STATEMENT
We seek to facilitate a weekly feast of member-led lessons that enrich the homeschool
journey through learning in community. In addition, we host regular events designed to
nurture relationships, explore nature, and connect with living ideas. Our goal is to come
alongside one another in raising children who are independent, lifelong learners while
also encouraging each other in our own continuing education. We strive to build an
atmosphere that inspires learning, develops good habits, and honors the whole child.
ABOUT US
DLC was started in 2022 in answer to a call to create a Charlotte Mason co-op in the area. The doors opened that first fall with 20 families, and now DLC is in its fifth year and still going strong. The planning team of DLC consists of three moms with ten kids among us, and we love what we do!
